The International Trade Relations Sector within the Legal & International Affairs Division represents Switzerland's interests in the field of intellectual property law at international level. As an Advisor on Intellectual Property, Innovation & Public Health, you'll be working at the intersection of IP, innovation and public health matters.
What awaits you here
- You'll represent the IPI in projects relating to the Swiss Health Foreign Policy
- You'll conduct negotiations and represent Switzerland's interests at international level
- You'll promote an understanding of the role of intellectual property in research, innovation and public health
- You'll draft positions and coordinate work within the IPI and with other federal agencies
- You'll devise and organise projects and specialist events
- You'll network with key actors at national and international level on behalf of the IPI
What makes you stand out
- You hold a Master's degree in international relations, public health, political science, law or a related field
- You have several years of professional and negotiation experience, preferably in an international setting
- You have a good understanding of international health law and, preferably, intellectual property law
- You possess diplomatic skills and collaborate well with other federal agencies and other actors
- You excel at communicating complex topics simply and persuasively
- You're a native German or French speaker with a good command of the other language and excellent English skills
- You work well both as part of a team and independently, and are reliable and precise
