The International Trade Relations Sector within the Legal & International Affairs Division represents Switzerland's interests in the field of intellectual property law at international level. As an Advisor on Intellectual Property, Innovation & Public Health, you'll be working at the intersection of IP, innovation and public health matters.

What awaits you here

  • You'll represent the IPI in projects relating to the Swiss Health Foreign Policy
  • You'll conduct negotiations and represent Switzerland's interests at international level
  • You'll promote an understanding of the role of intellectual property in research, innovation and public health
  • You'll draft positions and coordinate work within the IPI and with other federal agencies
  • You'll devise and organise projects and specialist events
  • You'll network with key actors at national and international level on behalf of the IPI

What makes you stand out

  • You hold a Master's degree in international relations, public health, political science, law or a related field
  • You have several years of professional and negotiation experience, preferably in an international setting
  • You have a good understanding of international health law and, preferably, intellectual property law
  • You possess diplomatic skills and collaborate well with other federal agencies and other actors
  • You excel at communicating complex topics simply and persuasively
  • You're a native German or French speaker with a good command of the other language and excellent English skills
  • You work well both as part of a team and independently, and are reliable and precise
